XII Culture Heritage Week from 16 to 25 of April 2010

Those who will be visiting Rome between 16th – 25th April, 2010 are in for a special treat.
One of the most highly anticipated events in Italy, for locals and tourists alike will occur.

The XII Culture Heritage Week put on by the Ministry of Cultural Activities is a 10 day opportunity to see state museums, archeological sites, monuments, archives and libraries for FREE.

Additionally guided tours of crypts and ruins, enhance the quality of this unique and rare occasion to discover and in some cases rediscover the Eternal City.

In the XII Culture Heritage Week you’ll be able to visit all the Civic Museum for free exept for Capitolini Museum, Ara Pacis Musieum, Planetarium and Astronomical Museum.

These are the free ones: Centrale Montemartini, Museo dei Fori Imperiali Mercati di Traiano, Museo di Roma Palazzo Braschi, Museo Napoleonico, Museo di Roma in Trastevere, Museo della Civiltà Romana, Musei di Villa Torlonia, Museo Canonica, Museo Bilotti, Museo Barracco.
